Inside The Surrogates Courthouse Building ,which houses the Hall of Records ....Amazing! the great hall reminds me of Grand Central Station and was built around the same time but hasn't had any facelifting . .As Beaux Arts as they come it is gilded ,mosaiced,sculpted,marbled and muraled to within an inch of it's life ........Glorious...........wish my pics were better.
